So, I've never used this before (because I have no followers), but on the off chance that people do occasionally see my page, I should like to post this message. We, the users of the HPANA Fan Fun Forum, would like to promote the wonderful stories within our forum, and to invite any Harry Potter lovers to join our community (though you don't actually have to join the site unless you want to post). Here's the message one of our authors has typed up in order to help people see what HPANA's Fan Fun is really all about:


The Harry Potter fan site HPANA (www.hpana.com) is an easy-to-use place for news, HP discussion, games, and just plain conversation. It is open and available to all, membership being required only if you wish to post something. What many do not realize, is that although HPANA is not specifically designed for fan fiction, a wide range of great stories find a home there, and no place else.

Do you only like completed stories? HPANA has a special forum ([link]) just for finished fan fiction. Worried about wading your way through reader comments and gossip? Each finished story is required to have continuation links so you can skip over the chatter and focus on just the tale. This forum begins with an index ([link]) containing a thumbnail description of each story, so you can choose something in a genre you like.

Willing to wait for updates? HPANA's Fan Fun forum ([link]) has nearly two hundred threads that contain long stories, short stories, poems, and even songs. It also has the People's Choice Awards where a list is posted at the beginning of each month showing those stories that readers have recommended as interesting and fun. There is a Hall of Fame ([link]) for particularly popular stories, finished or in progress.

HPANA has adventure, romance, mystery, and humor; Marauders, Harry's time, and post-Deathly Hallows; strictly canon-based and outrageously Alternate Universe. And all of it is easy to find and fun to read.
